What the weather is like
August is Agadir’s warmest month, with afternoons around 28°C and nights near 19°C. Rain is extremely rare.
The sea is at its warmest, about 22°C, the best of the year for swimming. The afternoon wind continues, and a few heatwaves from the Chergui desert wind can bring days of 38°C or more.
It is a festive, busy time, with the beach and promenade full until late at night.
